AMC General information

 AMC (Australian Medical Council) examination are for international medical graduates who want to enter at the level of starting hospital training in Australia.

 It consist of two parts.

 AMC part-1

 AMC part-1 is an MCQ based test conducted in two portions of 3 hours duration and 125 MCQs each. It tests the knowledge relating to Medicine, Surgery, Gynae and other clinical subjects.

 AMC part-2

 AMC part-2 is a clinical examination and is conducted in two linked stages.

The first stage is for assessment of consulting skills in Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology , Obstetrics  and Pediatrics. The second part consist of multi-station assessment

 of clinical skills.
